Systematic Paris-Région Competitiveness Cluster project

The OPENHPC project aimed at structuring the offer of Open Source software in high performance computing in order to create a platform of service consistent and complementary with commercial software.

It has been structured around three main parts:

  • The OPENHPC platform with the HPC improvement and standardization of tools, including Scilab software and ensuring the interoperability of components.
    Within this part, the kernel of Scilab has been completely rewritten from scratch in order to use the advantages provided by multi-core technologies.
    In this project, Scilab also provided a serie of tools and components to improve the interoperability with other software.
  • The implementation of valuation tools
  • The creation of a perennial structure for valorization.
