ACTIVOPT: Interactive optimization tools for robust design

Systematic Paris-Région Competitiveness Cluster project

The aim of the ACTIVOPT project was to design and develop algorithms for robust optimization and to integrate them into simulation and scientific computation applications in an interactive platform ensuring interoperability between software.

Software is the basic tool for the design of robust systems, while improving productivity and business innovation.

Developments were integrated in commercial and free software like Scilab. Moreover, commercial software are able to use Scilab computation and visualisation capabilities to improve their functionalities. This shows the efficiency of commercial and free software collaboration.

The ACTIVOPT project has been completed.
