Scilab distributed to the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines students

NII Open House 2009
Scilab participates to the Japanese National Institute of Informatics (NII) open house, on June 11th and 12th, 2009. Claude Gomez, Director of the Scilab Consortium, will give a conference untitled: “Open Source Software in Scientific Computation”.

To encourage broad use of the Scilab application by students in Japanese universities and colleges, NII holds every year the Scilab Toolbox Contest Japan since 2006.

JCUIC'2009
Scilab will exhibit in the forum associated with the conferences organized during the days of the CEA (French atomic energy commission) Computer Users'. For technical and logistic reasons, JCUIC'2009, initially expected on june 16 and 17, are deferred until autumn.

Scilab and Scicos will be presented and used in the laboratories during a course on Embedded Control Systems, from June 8 to 12, at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy. The even will show the integration of the Scicos code generator together with embedded control systems powered by Microchip microcontrollers.The event is sponsored by the ArtistDesign Network of Excellence
