Scilab Software for simulation, post-processing and visualization

By Michel Ravachol, Dassault Aviation

Scilab software has been chosen by CSDL and OMD2 research and development projects to centralize all of the developments and become the heart of a software platform used for simulation, data processing and visualization to support decision-making

Scilab can already simulate complex systems by calling all the tools of a numerical simulation chain. Thanks to this platform, users will be able to combine the power of tools like Isight and the richness and diversity of optimizers and Scilab 2-D and 3-D visualization functions.

Used throughout the research and development process, Scilab is now a real open source alternative to Matlab for the industrial world.
