Tools of post-treatment from aeroacoustic data with RIFIFI software

RIFIFI software developed with Scilab is used in PSA researches in aeroacoustics for reducing noise generated by air penetration in the car. These noises can come from wheezing joints, mirrors, car-body, or some drains.

RIFIFI is specifically used in the study and analysis of pressure measurements near the sides (fluctuating pressure on windows vibrations which are generated by the vortices behind the mirrors). These pressures act like a speaker cone and are measured through pressure sensors in close sides.

The data generated by those tests are then post-processed to achieve RIFIFI mapping pressures.
