    - How to install the binary version ? -

    Scilab 4.1.1

    Please note that the Scilab 4.1.1 is released for three main reasons:
    • to have a HP-UX Scilab 4.1.1 release available for Scilab users,
    • to provide a Scilab version running with the Scilab - LabVIEW Gateway release 1.0
    • to provide a new workaround to avoid the major bug of the gfortran compiler (Workaround provided with Scilab 4.1 had problem displaying data even if calculation wasn't impacted).

    Please note that:
    "setmenu" and "unsetmenu" scilab functions don't work correctly in the scilab binary version. This bug is caused by a lack of full upward compatibility with Xaw3d library versions (See bug 1850). "setmenu" and "unsetmenu" failure can have repercussions on some scicos functionalities. To fix it, please overwrite <scilab-path>/bin/libXaw3d.so.7 with this file.
