The Scilab Consortium aims at providing the fields of industry, research and education with an open source platform for numerical computing satisfying the expectations and quality standards of the professional market.

The Scilab Consortium aims to unite industrial and academic partners in a powerful international ecosystem to reinforce the resources implemented for the development and publishing of the successive versions of Scilab, the management of the community of contributors, the scientific animation, the monitoring of quality and the promotion of the product.

Thus, it actively influences the main technical and strategic guidelines, and in particular the conditions applicable to licenses and priority developments.
